Northeast High Schools Are Overcrowded; Online Forum To Address Relief

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Baltimore County Public Schools is asking the community to help weigh in on how to provide relief for overcrowded high schools in the northeastern part of the county. An online community meeting is slated for April 6. The school system will review options and try to get feedback on ways to improve buildings, enhance school use and offer relief. These schools are being reviewed: Kenwood, Loch Raven, Overlea, Parkville, and Perry Hall high schools. The virtual forum will be from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 6. It is the second in an effort to get community input on solutions for overcrowding. The first forum was March 9. More information is available on the Northeast Area High School Study website.
