PITTSBURGH, PA — Police are investigating a violent crime in the Hill District in which two children suffered stab wounds.
A man arrived at the Zone 2 station on Centre Avenue shortly before 7 a.m. on Friday with his young son, who had been stabbed. The child was taken to the hospital.
The father and police officers then went to a residence in the 200 block of Dinwiddie Street, where a second boy was found with a stab wound. He also was taken to the hospital.
Both children were last reported to be in critical but stable condition.
The ages of the children were not immediately available.
