CBS Philadelphia April 2, 2022 A Burlington County man is going to prison for his role in a GoFundMe scam. Mark D'Amico was sentenced Friday to 27 months in prison and three years supervised release. He was also ordered to pay a $20,000 fine and more than $400,000 in restitution. D'Amico was convicted for his role in a GoFundMe scam, collecting money from donors on the internet, purportedly to help a homeless man.
