NEWTOWN, PA — A Newtown business is still closed a week after a fire ripped through a building on State Street, damaging apartments and the storefront. Kathleen McCafferty, owner of The Pro Shop, said Thursday she does not yet have an estimated reopening date. The online store, LUXEpsn, is also closed. "We are expecting a full gut and for this all to take some time," McCafferty wrote on Facebook. "As soon as we know a timetable to rebuild and return we will share this with the community."
