I served in the military for 7 years (2 combat tours), law enforcement professional for 23 years. I have a wide variety of skillsets. I am capable of operating most electric tools (saws/drills etc.), mowers/zero turns, weed eaters, blowers, chain saws and other gas operated tools. I am obviously better at the mowing, as I am getting to the point where walking around with a weed eater in the heat fatigues me pretty quickly (but I am willing to try). If I haven't operated it, you can show me, as I am a quick learner. I have my own transportation. I retired as an executive law enforcement officer (Major) and am organized/ highly detail oriented. I am proficient in the management of personnel, scheduling, logistics, and equipment ranging from weapons to fleet vehicles, as well as reasonably competent with computers. As would be expected. I am also proficient with most weaponry, from long guns to handguns, though I highly doubt anyone on CL would require that, unless you require personal protection. If you require a personal assistant to run errands, pick up the kids from school, help out around the house, then I am your guy. I am excellent with animals and children. My purpose for listing this here, as opposed to the many internet job sites that are available is that I have Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, have applied for disability, and need work that is "off the record". I have semi frequent medical appointments at the V.A. That, along with being 54 years old, has made finding employment very difficult. I am not looking for a handout, just work. My C-PTSD does not in any way make me dangerous, crazy or less than anyone else. I tend to be quiet and stay to myself, though I am well versed in the art of customer service and interpersonal communications. I rarely drink, don't use any drugs not prescribed to me, have no criminal history, and am not a hard luck story. Should you have any work for me, please email me.
