Press release from the Wright County Government: March 30, 2022 A Message from the Wright County License Center There has been some confusion surrounding the move of the Wright County Government Center offices and departments that the License Center is doing driver testing. The office hopes to start offering written testing as early as May, but the department has never done written or driver testing. The State of Minnesota offers written testing and road testing at the Lakeview Mall in Buffalo (15 1st Ave. S). Written testing is done on Tuesdays and road testing is done on Wednesdays. While there is the expectation that written testing will be available at the new Government Center later this year, there is no expectation that driver testing will be approved at the Government Center because of the requirements of taking a driving test. If it is ever approved, it will be likely be years into the future due to the lack of development around the facility. This press release was produced by the Wright County Government.
