I was referred by my neighbor to Kevin Delano for monthly pool service and maintenance. This was by far the worst service and person I ever dealt with in my 15 year living in Vegas. The first time I talked to him he was already making demands and letting me know up front that everything needs to be done his way, even if it is your pool. Should have been a red flag right there, but thought I'd give him a try and agreed on a set price over the phone. First week, literally stayed four minutes. He sent my invoice and the monthly fee was $5 extra with no advanced notice whatsoever. Another red flag, should have got rid of him then. Second week, I made sure to view the pool and check footage of camera in back yard. Absolutely, nothing had been done. Pool was dirty with leaves, no tablets, and baskets were still full of debris. When I called him on this, his response to me, a customer, was that he was not willing to clean my pool anymore and you can find another service. He tries to test the limits of pissing you off until there is no choice but to fire him. He demands payment upfront and does nothing. Pretty good scam, though.
It is obvious he does not want or know how to keep new clients. He inherited this route from another person and I figure his existing clients think he provides the same service as before using that to his advantage to do the bare minimum. There are several Elite Pool(s) Service online but none of them are him. There is no way to read any reviews or get information about his company. I felt the responsibility to provide information on this company so he does rip off other fellow Las Vegans. His name and phone number is Kevin Delano
and the company he goes by these days is Elite Pools Cleaning and Service.
