ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MD — While coronavirus continues to dominate the news, a fresh, furry story is just what people need. Here are this week's adorable adoptables from the SPCA of Anne Arundel. Each pet is looking for a forever home. Piper: Pretty Piper is one cool pup! She is very cuddly with her people and has good energy. She is not a fan of other animals so she will need to be the only pet, but she has lots of love to give! Piper would appreciate an active home with a yard and plenty of outdoor adventures followed by lots of snuggle time in the evening. Pancake: Pancake is a cute brown tabby. Her lovely long coat will require some regular brushing, but she doesn't mind. Pancake came to the shelter when her owner lost their home. She is very shy and nervous here, but when she feels safe and comfortable she blossoms into a happy and playful cat. Bruce Kuma: Bruce is a cool looking dog with splashes of brindle color throughout his face and legs. He is affectionate and loves to give passionate kisses. He is a big lover seeking some belly rubs and a good game of tug of war. Bruce is treat-motivated and quite manageable on walks, but he should be the only pet. Lily Louise: Meet Lily Louise! This sweet, good-natured girl is turning 4 years old next month. She'd love to find a forever home before her birthday. Lily Louise is gentle and friendly. She likes to mother her kitten neighbors and is very sweet with them. We think she'd fit right in to any family! A list of all adoptable animals is available here. Prospective adopters can download an application at this link. Once completed, potential pet owners should email the application to [email protected].
