Caregiving position for 22year old special needs girl.
Strength, Endurance, Fitness, Positive Attitude, Observation skills required.
Typ. Day:
Assist w dressing, bathing, feeding and mobility, tube feeding, teeth brush, toilet or pullup change. Constant dialog about what comes next so she can help choose or help hold her weight. Non-verbal but can blink for yes/agreement.
Daytime can be going out to coffee shops, strolling around Whole Foods, shopping, doing yoga with the assistance of props, listening to music, swimming at the Rec Center, visiting trails/dog parks, or just reading a book while lying in a hammock.
Basically anything you like to do, she will too.
Patience and Kindness are key. As well as the ability to lift 90lbs with some assistance from her.
Reliability is a must as she needs continuous care to succeed in life,,and your help allows parents to go to work and have some personal time.
$22/hr plus weekly gas stipend for driving her around.
18-20hrs Tuesdays and Thursdays with possibility for more if you want. Tuesday 8:30-5:30, Thursday 8:30-6:30.
