Description
Hello, I found an abandoned young, male, pit-bull earlier in March of this year. My neighborhood is on the outskirts of San Antonio and I think people come to dump their unwanted dogs here. Unfortunately, I am unable to afford another dog. I have contacted local animal shelters and city agencies and have had no luck. In addition, I have had friends, family, and colleagues post about the dog on various forums. I do NOT know if the animal is chipped, I am waiting for Bexar County Animal Services to drive out and determine is he is chipped. If you are interested in rehoming this dog I can email images and provide my phone number for serious inquiries.
I am including a bullet-pointed list of my interactions with the pit-bull thus far:
-Friendly (respond to sit command for a treat)
-Energetic (why I think he is 1-2 years old)
-Appears healthy (no appearance of physical ailments, poop looks healthy, weighs approx. 75 lbs.)
-Strong (built like a pit-bull, all muscle)
-Playful (jumps, runs, and nips with his mouth but does not bit, also licks ears)
-Attempts to mount my little dog (not aggressive, but rough with my smaller dog; I suggest this be your only animal)
He is a handsome and healthy dog and I hope to find him a permanent home. I will include the collar ($30), leash ($30), and a 50lbs. bag of HEB dog food for the family that decides to take him. I am a public school teacher so I really only have the weekends to find him a home. If you'd like to inquire, or know someone who may be interested, please email me. Thank you.
