ISO Assistant Horse Ranch Manager/Helper -- DRAMA FREE ENVIRONMENT ! The quiet foals are coming momentarily as well as the lambs - location is West side of Burleson. (Also have three Yak babies). I need help weekdays from 8 am to about noon... 3 to 5 days a week. STRONG preference for someone with experience with horses, livestock, or at least ranch work. It's not "pet the pretty ponies all day." NO weekends and not flexible with hours. These are our working hours. (Summer might start at 7 am to avoid heat.) Position will work side by side with me and involve barn chores such as stall cleaning, water buckets filled, some grooming, helping me handle new foals and new lambs. Also run a Veteran (and others) Therapy program here. Must be professional and polite. Can teach our ways, but need a decent livestock/horse/ranch background. MUST: 1. References. 2. Reliable transportation 3. No child care issues/family drama. 4. Live within 20 minutes of Burleson 5. Cheery upbeat personality ! This is a fun place to work.
