Ruger is 3 and needs a new home asap! He is fixed, great with kids 5+. He doesnt really like men and could use some training when it comes to strangers coming over (covid and no one coming over for 2 yrs made him VERY protective over the house) He has been attacked by off leash dogs 3 times while walking and now is very weary of other dogs so a home where he is the only dog would be best. (He was raised with a small female though and they were best friends. Ruger does NOT like cats and WILL chase them. He is so smart and easily trained with treats. He knows all sorts of tricks, he can even play hide and seek with his toys! Digging is a thing of the past nowadays. He also trips out hard core on lights and shadows. (My kids used a lazer pointer with him as a pup🤦) He is a fun dog and a great family dog. I was as SAHM when we got him. He deserves so much more than I can provide for him now. So many people have been interested but not one person has come to meet him. I have been trying to find him a home since June 2021, and i am running out of time and patience for this endeavor. Please come meet him. Give him a chance before all his options are gone n the only one i have left is the humane society. Text. Do NOT call.
