Maryland Hall Closes Due To Coronavirus, Events Cancelled

ANNAPOLIS, MD — Maryland Hall will be closed March 16-27 and staff will be working remotely during that time due to the novel coronavirus. The Annapolis Symphony Orchestra cancelled its Masterworks concerts March 20-21. The box office will contact ticket holders about the cancelled performances. The Annapolis Film Festival will not be held there this year, either, according to Maryland Hall officials. Other closures and rescheduled events include: Rams Head Presents has postponed Colin Hay's April 3 concert taking place at Maryland Hall. A new date will be released for a spring 2021 performance. The Cafe at Maryland Hall also has cancelled its April 30 and May 7 PVA performances. Ignite Annapolis has postponed its March 12 event and a new date will be announced.Annapolis Opera has postponed Susannah. The rescheduled dates are June 2021. Ticket holders will be contacted with an update.Maryland Hall and WTMD have postponed the Beatles Family Festival scheduled for March 21. Ticket holders will be contacted directly by WTMD. Maryland Hall has postponed the ArtFest open house scheduled for March 22. A save the date will be June 6.
