ANNAPOLIS, MD — Hey, Parrotheads! Did you hear that Jimmy Buffett was in Annapolis this week? It looks like the tropical musician may have been in town for several days. Annapolis resident Tara Davis claimed that she spotted his boat on Tuesday. (Story continues below embed.) Buffett is known for his beachy music. His top hits include "Margaritaville" and "Cheeseburger In Paradise." Radio station 1430 WNAV says that two of Buffett's boats were docked in town on Friday morning. The report adds that Buffett's turquoise vessels filled the slips next to "Winning Drive," the yacht of Baltimore Ravens owner Steve Bisciotti. Buffett journeyed out to Thomas Point Shoal Light Friday morning. He recorded two songs at the lighthouse for an event sponsored by a local publication called SpinSheet Magazine. The magazine writes that Buffett will eventually release the tracks on video. The publication did not announce a release date. "Appreciate the hospitality!" Buffett said in a Facebook post thanking SpinSheet Magazine and the lighthouse manager. (Story continues below embed.) The singer's stop in Annapolis follows his trip to Harford and Cecil Counties. He enjoyed the upper Chesapeake Bay last weekend, paddleboarding around Concord Point Lighthouse in Havre de Grace and eating at the Chesapeake Inn Restaurant and Marina.
