ANNAPOLIS, MD — Officials said an Annapolis fire hospitalized three minors Thursday afternoon. The fire started around 1:30 p.m. in the unit block of Juliana Circle West, an incident report noted.
When firefighters arrived, they saw heavy smoke and heard screams from inside the townhome. Crews saved all three trapped boys.
One is about 15 years old. The other two are around 5 years old.
Medics took the trio to an unnamed hospital for evaluation. Fire officials do not yet know the extent of their injuries.
Firefighters saved the boys and extinguished the flames in about 10 minutes. The Anne Arundel County Fire Department and the Naval District Washington Fire Department assisted the Annapolis Fire Department's response.
Fire officials are still investigating the cause of the blaze. They did not estimate a dollar loss caused by the fire.
No firefighters were hurt during the call.
