OAK SHADOWS IS CURRENTLY SEEKING TO HIRE A MAINTENANCE PERSON TO FILL A PART TIME POSTION. PAY RATE IS $15.00/HOUR. PLEASE SUBMIT YOUR RESUME TO [email protected]. Job Summary: The General Maintenance Worker will perform general maintenance and cleanup of the Condominium property, eg. laundry rooms, clubhouse and office. Other duties may include unit entries in case of emergencies or checking for leaks. Duties/Responsibilities: ⦁ Inspect and identify equipment or machines in need of repair such as pressure washers and golf carts. ⦁ Opening and closing laundry rooms. ⦁ Troubleshoot issues in units to determine necessary repairs. ⦁ Performs general repairs that do not require a specialized technician. Examples may include repairing light fixtures, cameras, repairing doors and other building fixtures. ⦁ Performs routine maintenance on building systems such as pressure washing. ⦁ Informing Board of Directors about supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance. ⦁ Performs other related duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: Ability to follow instructions from Board of Directors and Property Management. General knowledge of various maintenance skills. Ability to use hand tools and power tools. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, Previous Maintenance experience preferred. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods standing and walking. Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
