Description

1 yr old female shepherd. Her name is Zoe. We got her from an acquaintance and we were lied to at every turn. We were told she was being rehomed due to their other dog not liking her. They had had her from 8 weeks. What we came to find out was she liked to guard. We broke her of this habit. She is wonderful with other dogs when slowly and properly introduced. We were told she was potty trained. Also a lie. Turns out they left her in a crate for 14 hrs a day let her out two hours in the evening and then put her right back in. With us we only crate at night. She has been wonderful in this aspect. We have potty trained her and she responds well to any type of training. She is crate trained. All you have to do is point and say crate. We were told she was ok with cats. While I dont believe she will hurt or kill a cat. She comes at them like a bat outta hell. This scares the cat causes it to run and she chases. This is the problem for us. She responds well to training however our cat is 11 years old. Too old to be chased at every turn while trying to teach her. She is a typical young shepherd with shepherd energy. She is fixed up to date on vaccinations and will come with her crate bed food and dishes. She is WONDERFUL with kids and warms up to adults quickly. She does jump up on people. Currently another thing we are working on. She would do best in a home without cats or one that was willing to train her not to react. She would do best with a family that has experience with large high energy dogs. We are in no hurry to rehome her. We want the right home found. If you think youre a good fit send me a message and we can talk further. Im being 100% honest in my description good and bad. Will answer any questions anyone has. The rehoming fee is $150 to insure the intent to give her a good final home.
