Looking for a hard-working, flexible fabricator and laborer to support and participate in stone fabrication and handling operations.
Immediate training to include stone slab finish processes (mostly thermal/flaming/torching) and rotary-arm tool operation for kerf cutting. These are integral processes to our fabrication workflow and will be the backbone of daily tasks for the immediate future.
Beyond that, however, day-to-day responsibilities to include (but not be limited to):
--Manual labor including handling of heavy stone material
--Equipment maintenance, washdown and slurry (mud) management
--Fork-lift and front-end loader operationImmediate support of those involved in fabrication (ie. packaging, stone handling)
--Actual fabrication tasksThis is not a typical landscape or masonry position but experience in those trades would be a benefit.
Days often present varied tasks. Ability to manage a diverse workflow and interact kindly and patiently with all staff a must.
The working environment is most often outdoors and subject to weather fluctuations.

This position is open now but a flexible start date up to mid-April can be discussed. Depending on project workflow, the position can be seasonal, but more often work continues through winter.
