ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Inspect, dispose, clean and maintenance work throughout the facility as well as providing assistance to the warehouse ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job function. Tasks include, but not limited to; Janitorial- Handyman • Clean fans, curtains that separate warehouses, change a/c filters, maintain trash tank; • Place flag, check surrounding area, pack boxes, crush and removal of boxes; • Warehouse, store, parking lot trash removal; • Monitor and report on the inventory of cleaning supply; • Report any maintenance concerns or repairs to the manager; • Assist warehouse, packaging, shipping and receiving, export; • Sweep, dust and organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times; • Wear the proper safety equipment; • Other duties as assigned Maintenance • Facility maintenance duties, such as changing light bulbs, moving packages, minor repairs; • Ensure warehouse is accessible and safe; • Perform routine maintenance of equipment such as, but not limited to lifter, forklift, a/c, plumbing, paint; • Other duties as assigned Warehouse Assistance • Open crates and other containers; • Move materials and items from and to different areas as assigned; • Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS • High School Diploma or GED, or minimum of 1 year experience; • Dependable and hands on; • Ability to use logic and reason to identify alternative solutions; • Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers; • Bilingual, English and Spanish preferred; • Ability to organized and prioritize job projects and requirements; • Driving Forklift experience, preferable; • Computer knowledge.
