Join the Building Better Lives team for a day of learning about self-regulation and resiliency. Sponsored by BTIS of Fairfield County.
Throughout the changing phases of the pandemic, the Building Better Lives team has been providing training, guidance and application to individuals and agencies on how to shift our work in this challenging setting. Understanding self-regulation is more important now that ever as we are all challenged to continue to work through the pandemic.
During this training, we will focus on learning about ACEs (Adverse Childhood Experiences Study), The Power of Resilience, Basics of Brain Science, Rhythm, Relationships and Attachment, Complex Developmental Trauma, and Practical Strategies to Respond to Trauma. Additionally, we will build Skills of Resilience for Clients and Staff, Use Brain Science to Implement Effective Services, Design Supportive Environments, and Improve Interactions. We will also grow our understanding of Equity and Equity Goals.
**Please note: lunch is included in ticket cost- A variety of box lunches will be available at no extra charge.
