Description

For people with anxious attachment and those who love them. Turns out there actually is something of a secret recipe for love… attachment styles. Deeply understanding how attachment works provides both diagnosis and prescription for better relationships. This workshop will delve deep into specifically the secret needs, driving forces, untapped powers, and texting follies of anxious attachment. You'll discover why you do what you do when you’re not getting the connection you desire, and leave with concrete things you can try instead that will open steadier, richer relationships. We will explore the balance we must find between ourselves and union, connection and creating, the security of companionship and the centering of solitude. While celebrating the gifts of anxious lovers, we will spur the possibility beyond loving anxiously… building a secure base in yourself that supports both delighting in independence and expanding in intimacy. This session will serve you no matter your relationship status. If you're single and want to enjoy your solo time instead of falling for the same type of person over & over. Or you're dating someone you really like who just can't quite meet you the way you want and you struggle to ask for what you need. Or you're well into a relationship and want to find new ground when you hit the same old obstacles. It’s also open to anyone who wishes to understand a partner (or even an ex!) with anxious attachment. You’ll find out what most nourishes them as well as how they’ll likely respond when upset, so you can better communicate and take care of your needs too.Come laugh with recognition and maybe cry with relief as we explore this core piece of what makes us tick in our most vital relationships. Not sure of your attachment style? 1. Take this quick test. 2. Or this even speedier one… do you take it personally if someone doesn’t text you back quickly and think they might have replied sooner if you’d said just the right thing? Often abandon what you actually want in order to build connection with a potential partner? Feel like if you spend a Saturday evening solo it means you’ve failed? Or tend to chase someone even when they’ve consistently not shown up the way you want? Yep, get in here with us.
