Check-in, food trucks, kids' activities and bathrooms will be available at the tour headquarters, located at Flatirons Elementary School, 1150 7th St., Boulder. Check-in will also be available at The Academy Senior Living, 970 Aurora Ave., Boulder. This is a self guided, walking/biking tour. However, please navigate the tour in a way that meets your needs, abilities and interests. The maximum distance is 3 miles with 300 feet elevation gain. If the distance or elevation gain is of concern, we suggest you attend with a friend, leave a car near Flatiron Elementary and start the tour "at the top" near The Academy Senior Living. You will be able to check-in at either location. Gardens will be located in three clusters with different topics of education at each of 10 stops. You will get to choose your own adventure! Visit them all or just choose one or two clusters. More information about the tour will be available as we get closer to the date at www.bouldergardentour.com. The event will take place rain or shine, and no refunds will be made. All proceeds will benefit local nonprofit Garden to Table and school garden education for elementary students in Boulder County. www.gardentotable.org The event’s beneficiary, Garden to Table, serves 200+ teachers and 5,000+ students at 15-20 schools each year. From north Boulder south to Broomfield, and from the foothills east to Lafayette, Garden to Table provides garden management, standards-based curriculum, training and support to schools so that all students can participate in experiential, garden-based learning every year.
