Jazz in Little Africa Fire in Little Africa with LowDown Ages 21+ Fila Jazz in Little Africa is a unique jazzy hip-hop experience brought to you by Tulsa's hip-hop collective, Fire in Little Africa. These special engagements bring the top talent of Tulsa’s hip-hop scene to the LowDown for jazz renditions of material from the featured artists’ catalog along with selections from the Fire in Little Africa (@fireinlittleafrica) album, released in 2021 on Motown Records. The first featured artist in this series is Steph Simon (@stephxsimon), one of the executive producers of Fire in Little Africa and a true leader in the Tulsa community. Steph is the creator of World Culture Music Festival, McLain Titan Records, and Skyline Mansion; and has released classic albums like ‘Born on Black Wall Street’ and ‘Visions From the Tisdale’. For Jazz in Little Africa Steph will be backed by a quintet led by Chris Combs and other Tulsa music superstars, making this an unmissable event.
