ICR is bringing together leaders in the field of workforce development that are on the front lines and developing programs that can address labor shortages in our industry and bring good paying, rewarding jobs to Hoosiers that allow them to thrive. The April ICR Educational Event: Finding Solutions to Workforce Challenges will be held Thursday, April 14 at Indiana Landmarks, 1201 Central Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46202. About the Panelists: Brad Benhart: Purdue University- Associate Professor of Practice Brad Benhart has been a mainstay in the construction industry for over 30 years. He has been involved in all aspects of construction including: healthcare, hospitality, commercial, residential, international, and all related aspects of training and education. In 2009, Benhart furthered his commitment and passion to construction education by accepting a faculty position at Purdue University in their School of Construction Management program. Brad focuses on strategic planning, construction supervision, healthcare construction, and project management. He is currently focused on the benefits of industry peer groups for contractors. Benhart also has an extensive resume in industry. His previous position was Vice President with Pepper Construction Company of Chicago, IL. While at Pepper, Brad managed projects ranging from $100k to $250 million dollars. He continues to be an adjunct professor at Northwestern University in project management and has actively taught and trained many employees in the industry. When he is not in the classroom, Brad owns Integrated Construction Resources, a construction consulting company that focuses on strategic planning, peer group facilitation, training, & expert witness analysis. Cindy Randolph: Ivy Tech - Assistant Vice President Employer and Student Talent Pipeline Cindy is the Assistant Vice President of Employer and Student Talent Pipeline for Career Coaching and Employer Connections at Ivy Tech. In this role she supports talent acquisition by bridging employers to student talent through meaningful connections. Prior to this role, Cindy served as a Workforce Consultant. Her efforts with continuous improvement led to the delivery of basic lean principles to several hundred in the Lafayette service area and inspired her to earn a Six Sigma certification. Along with being a Gallup certified Strengths Coach and a trained Job Profiler, she leads efforts as a statewide strategy lead and fulfills a passion to create solutions which bridge talent to opportunity. Anthony White: Pepper Construction - Project Manager As an industry professional for 9 years, he has fulfilled the project needs of clients in healthcare, manufacturing, retail, government, and K-12 schools. With a passion for the industry, he strives to exceed expectations as well as benefit the community and people within the community. Moderator - Chris Price: ICR- President Chris Price is the President of the Indiana Construction Roundtable and the Indiana Construction Roundtable Foundation, where his leadership and fun-loving attitude keep the associations thriving. Describing each day as a new adventure, Chris takes pride in helping these organizations fulfill their missions. Before joining the ICR in 2008, Chris worked in the construction and civil engineering fields. Chris is currently involved with workforce development programs for the benefit of the construction industry.
