FreeFlight Teen & Parent Membership Club is opening its doors to new members in 2022-2023 FreeFlight Launchpad for Life is a Teen and Parent membership club that is geared towards both Teens and Parents. Teens cultivate a broad set of life skills that include Self-Advocacy, Critical thinking, Financial Literacy, Personal Safety as well as exposure to role models in non-traditional careers. Parents untangle misconceptions on performance and success and learn how to best support teens in this phase of life. Teens: Do you feel defined by grades and worried about college, money, or popularity?Do you wish you could define success on your own terms?Parents: Do you want to broaden your outlook on success?Do you want to learn how to nurture individuality and independence in your teen?FreeFlight is a supportive community of Teens and Parents that gather on the second Saturday of each month to share experiences, wrestle with important questions, and strategize solutions to common problems. Each session provides members opportunities to learn and practice common life skills within their parallel peer groups. Parents learn how to best support teens on their chosen pathway. This open house is to share information about the club with the general public and to invite members to join. There will be free food, fun, and games.
