Description

In partnership with Muslim Women's Alliance, IRUSA presents Empowering Women - Led Households in Gaza. Decades of political instability have stifled economic development across Palestine. The majority of Palestinians, living inside territories and living as refugees, depend on international aid for survival. Well over 1 million people in Palestine are food insecure, including nearly half of the population of the Gaza Strip. In addition, continued violence throughout Palestine has severely affected the most vulnerable segment of the population — the children. Many Palestinian children continue to suffer from the psychological trauma associated with violence. Islamic Relief’s legacy in Palestine has grown to help hundreds of thousands of people every year with programs that provide livelihood support for farmers, help vulnerable children, and so much more. While the Islamic Relief community provides urgent aid in times of emergency, we also work with Palestinians and partners to implement long-term, sustainable programs that set families for independent success. The people of Palestine need your help, your donations make all the difference. We want Palestinians to survive and thrive! And with your continued support, IRUSA we can make that happen.
