Grammy-nominated guitarist Jon Butcher is one of a select handful of influential recording artists who emerged from the legendary Boston music scene. 13 Internationally released albums, MTV videos, hit songs, and incendiary live touring comprise the underpinnings of a rich music career that continues today. The JON BUTCHER AXIS was signed to Polydor Records in 1983, toured Internationally and formed the foundation for Jon’s signature sound- soul-infused vocals and guitar work that reflects a skillful mix of Rock and R&B, Soul, Jazz and Americana, all of it focused through a prism built from the Blues. Jon's live performances are legendary, electrifying and critically acclaimed. Deric Dyer spent most of the 80's and 90' as the sax player with both Tina Turner and Joe Cocker. He's one of the hardest working in the business flying between projects in LA to London. Don't miss a chance to catch him with the Blues Project. Tim Archibald has spent the last 30 years as the go-to bass player in New England. His resume includes the Peter Wolfe Band (J Giles), Barry Goudreau (Boston) and currently with the Vynal All Stars with Jeff "Skunk" Baxter. Chuck Farrell and AJ Vallee can be seen with Once an Outlaw which has members of the Allman Brothers, Outlaws and Dickey Betts Band. They can also be seen with blues legend James Montgomery. Jessica Ramsay is the voice behind local favorites the Carolyn Ramsay Band. You'll also find her doing session work throughout New England. Show Opener Dave Gerard. On any given night a DG show is gentle, raucous, and eclectic; but always honest. His soulful style of contemporary roots music and from-the-core songwriting has earned him many awards: Best Male Artist & Song of The Year (Jam Magazine), and finalist in the John Lennon Songwriting Contest to name a few. His music takes him full time from New England to Florida, west to Colorado, and to the U.S. Virgin Islands. Acoustically he’s shared the stage with Richie Havens, Chris Smither, David Lindley, Pat Donohue, Toots & the Maytalls, and Tinytown. With his band Truffle, he’s performed with Little Feat, The Band, Phish, Dave Matthews Band, and Blues Traveler to name a few. Check out a show and his six solo recordings, “ The Zoomy Trail”, “Dreams of Kings”, “Losing the Boy”, “Memory Hill”, “FIVE”, (collaborated with Bill Payne from Little Feat), and his latest “Angels & Cowboys” 2021.
