Host: Josiah Carlson @ajosiahcarlson Feature: Jess Everett @imjesseverett Jess Everett was born in Tacoma in 1985 back when it stunk and there was nothing to do. The city really rubbed off on him, and now he has Multiple Sclerosis. He uses the powers of a brain compromised by port emissions and arsenic to give an obscure take on things like depression and playgrounds. Jess has a way of showing the light side of dark topics. At the very least his gangly malnourished body is interesting to look at. Jess was invited to try out for, but did not get into the Seattle International Comedy Competition. He was the winner of the Olympia Comedy Competition, and that competition only lasted one year, so technically he is the only winner on the planet, and in history, of the Olympia Comedy Competition. Jess has shared the stage with national headliners such as Ryan Singer, Greg Fitzimmons, Josh Blue, and Dave Attell. He also shared a booth with Ms. Pat. Headliner: Luke Severeid @lukesevereid Luke Severeid got his start performing stand up comedy in the Pacific Northwest and has taken his rambunctious brand of comedy on the road touring the west coast, midwest and Canada chaotically yelling jokes in and outside of comedy clubs and bars the whole time. If Luke looks familiar it might be because he has a striking resemblance to every dive bar’s bouncer you’ve ever met OR you saw him in one of the several award winning films he was in(only one of them being NSFW). Not content to just be a mediocre hairline on the big screen, he has also performed in several festivals including the Bumbershoot Music Festival, the Seattle International Comedy Competition and recently was a semifinalist in the 2021 San Francisco Comedy Competition. His brand of high energy, biting comedy has been described as undiagnosed ADD by his friends and incorrectly diagnosed as rabies by his foes. He’s loud and bald, occasionally bearded and is looking forward to making you laugh. Tickets: $15
