Learn basic bike repairs and maintenance to reduce worries while getting out and enjoying your ride! Event Name: WWE: KC - Basic Bike Maintenance & Repairs Location: Elite Cycling, 10673 Mission Rd, Leawood, KS 66206 Dates/Time of Event: Wednesday 4/13, 6:00-8:00pm (end time approximate) Description: Please join fellow Women Who Explore (WWE) for an informative and interactive class, learning the basics of bike maintenance and repair. Fixing a flat tire, bike chain, or maybe just adjusting your brakes....ease your mind and increase your confidence for getting out on the road or trails for an enjoyable ride! What to bring: if desired, bring something to take notes Max class size: 20 people to ensure an effective means for breakouts, getting hands-on experience. TO SIGN UP: 1) Register through this Eventbrite event -- this event is FREE of charge so please make sure you are able to attend before registering. Cancellation Policy: since the class size is limited, please make sure you plan to attend before registering. IF you register, and then find that you can't attend, please cancel your registration so someone can take your spot. Wait List: we will create a Wait List for this event. If it fills up, and someone subsequently cancels, the next person on the Wait List will have first right to register. So, please make sure you get yourself on the Wait List if you want a chance to attend once the class reaches the attendee limit. If you are registering for this event we ask that you are 100% committed to attend when you register. If you can't make the event please cancel and release your Eventbrite ticket so another member can attend in your place. All attendees must be Women Who Explore members to attend who have signed the WWE waiver. Liability Waiver: Friendly reminder that it is a requirement to sign the e-waiver before attending your first Women Who Explore event. In order to comply with these guidelines, each member attending the event will be required to register through Eventbrite. Event Guidelines (for Covid): By registering for this event, participants agree to abide by the guidelines set forth by Women Who Explore which include: Practice social distancing Carry a personal hygiene kit (mask and hand sanitizer) and have it available during the event Refrain from sharing transportation, gear, food or close spaces with others outside of your household Practice self-awareness and do not attend if you have had any flu-like symptoms, exposed to or have tested positive for Covid in the last 14 days.
