Join us in celebrating Teddy’s 30th birthday. The day will start with a walk along Forbidden Drive followed by live music! When: June 18, 2022: Walk starts @ 9AM, followed by live music at The Cedars House from 11:30AM - 3PM Where: Forbidden Drive, 120 West Northwestern Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19118 Teddy shined his light on all of us - through music, yoga, recovery, friendship - the list goes on as he still continues to guide many of us today. It's our turn to shine our light - to light up this world for our dear friend, Ted. Teddy was taken from this life too soon, but the wisdom he shared with all us lives on - forever. Our hope, through this walk, the foundation, and future events, is to shine light on the shame, fear, isolation that comes along with mental health disorders, specifically substance use disorder. In 2021, 100,000 lives were lost to drug overdoses, with fentanyl overdose being the leading cause of death for adults 18-45 years old. The Teddy Kradzinski Foundation aims to Provide access to services and educational resources surrounding behavioral and mental health through music and art programs, yoga and meditation programs, and mentorship programs. Provide access to services and resources for Substance Use Disorder, including treatment, for individuals and their families.Provide access to long and short-term treatment resources for recovery, symptom remission and support.
