An Event to Honor the Memory Of Maxine Maland who Lived to Ride!! At this event we will also honor all brothers and sisters lost too soon. On June 8, 2019 the world lost an amazing Wife, Mother , Aunt and Friend when Maxine and Dan were struck by a Deer causing the motercycle to lose control and totalling it. Dan Survived and went through 12 hours of surgey to rebuild his body. Sadly Max was lost at the scene. She made it very clear that she LIVED to RIDE! Therefore, 3 years after losing her Kenton's Place has partnered with Local Riding Groups to host a Rememberance Ride.. . This ride bears her name, in honor of her and all who we have lost on the road. But Wait, It's Not just a ride.. We will be hosting a BIG Biker Bash the night before the ride at Bobville Talent Park in Eau Claire Wisconsin. The event will include LIVE Music, Karaoke, Food Trucks, Live Auction, Raffles, a Petting Zoo and so much more.. Did we mention camping at a low cost for the entire weekend, including firewood, and TP?"" We even have VIP Lodging! If you have someone you want to remember, this event was made for you! Funds raised will be donated to Kenton's Place Biker Loss relief fund. This fund is to help qualifying families cover memorial costs when someone is lost in a motercycle accident. Many of us have experienced this, so in our loved ones memories lets have a blast!
