SWAMPSCOTT, MA — Swampscott residents have less than a week to get registered to vote in teh annual town election on April 26.
The deadline to register to vote in the town election is Wednesday at 8 p.m. The Swampscott Town Hall will be open until 8 p.m. that night to accept registrations.
Registration forms are available here and may either be dropped off by the deadline or completed and mailed to Town Clerk, 22 Monument Avenue, Swampscott, MA 01917.
There is also a dropbox outside of Town Hall to return registration forms and an online registration form here and registration status can be found here.
This year's election includes three candidates for two open Select Board positions and 234 candidates on the ballot as town meeting members — with more than 50 others expected to receive write-in
