We are looking for a delivery driver to join our team! We are a Seattle based flooring company located in the Georgetown neighborhood. This position is very physical and requires carrying, loading and delivering all of our flooring materials to the job sites. The delivery driver works closely alongside our project managers and field project managers to ensure accurate and timely delivery of materials. Many of our job sites require moving materials up stairs, on and off elevators and accessing the job site via lock boxes, key codes, and job site keys. Previous experience driving commercial vehicles/box van is required for this role. This position requires a clean driving record, background check, and good references. Good customer service skills are a must as interaction with homeowners is often part of the job. Good communication skills are necessary to be successful in this role. A positive, can do attitude, and ability to work well on a team are primary qualities that we are looking for. Responsibilities: ● Working alongside our warehouse supervisor and order desk to ensure accurate material preparation ahead of time for all flooring projects ● Driving the box van for material pick-ups from vendors and deliveries to the job site or our warehouse for staging ● Making sure all materials on the pick-up list that day are loaded and brought to designated location ● Be ready for emergency/add on pick-ups and deliveries ● Adhering to delivery calendar and schedule as coordinated by our PM’s ● Using forklift in the warehouse to move materials at times Key Competencies: ● Good driving record ● Tech savvy for using phone for calendar and communication with the team ● Clean, professional appearance ● Good communication skills ● Good time management skills ● Team player ● Friendly attitude ● Responsible and reliable
