WAUKESHA, WI — The 2022 Spring Election in Waukesha will decide the next mayor, county supervisors and school district board members. Shawn Reilly, the incumbent mayor, told The Waukesha Freeman he wanted to create a budget for water infrastructure and redevelop the city's downtown. Lisa Salb, the chair of the Landmarks Commission, said the city's issue with affordable housing was a bigger issue than pushing for high-end apartments, The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported. Six people are running for school board in the School District of Waukesha: Greg Deets, William Baumgart, Sarah Harrison, Marquell Moorer, Mark Borowski and Karrie Kozlowski. The election will also decide the next local Waukesha County Supervisor and Waukesha County Circuit Court Judge, depending on residents' locales.
