Dover Man Accused Of Failure To Appear On Child Sex Abuse Charges

CONCORD, NH — A New Hampshire man, who failed to appear in superior court on child sexual abuse images charges two weeks ago, was arrested on Thursday. A Strafford County Superior Court warrant was issued against Jeremy Alden Towle, 24, on March 17 after he failed to show up for an arraignment on a multi-count indictment for "knowingly procured, possessed, or controlled visual representations of a child engaging in sexually explicit conduct." He was last known to live in Manchester. After failing to appear, the U.S. Marshals Task Force was able to develop information that led them to a relative's home on Columbus Avenue in Dover. The task force "went to this address, where Jeremy Towle was located and arrested without incident," Jeffrey White, a deputy marshal, said. Towle was brought to the Strafford County Jail, where he was processed and held without bail until his court appearance in Strafford County Superior Court. The task force working on this case included members from the Strafford County Sheriff's Office, the Greenfield Police Department, and U.S. Marshals. "We are very pleased that our partnership with the U.S. Marshals has yielded such great results," Strafford County Sheriff Mark Brave said. "Locating and arresting Mr. Towle is just one of the many examples of the great work that the task force does for Strafford County." According to superior court records, the charges against Towle stem from incidents in January, July, and September 2019.
