GENEVA, IL — Gas prices are slightly down from the previous week, giving Geneva residents a little relief at the pump. As of Thursday, the average price for gas in Illinois is about $4.46 per gallon, according to AAA. That's down 3 cents from a week ago.
Nationally, the average Thursday was about $4.23 per gallon.
At around $4.41 per gallon in Kane County Thursday, gas prices were slightly under the state average.
With prices as high as they are, you can still save a little bit if you know where to look in Geneva.
