Description

WARRINGTON TWP., PA — A woman recognized a suspicious phone call about a Publishers Clearing House prize and reported it to officers, Warrington Township police said. Police said the woman got a notice from Publishers Clearing House in the mail, telling her she won $5,000. On Thursday, police said, the woman got a call from an unknown man. The man was asking for more information about the woman so he could deliver the prize, police said. "The complainant recognized this to be suspicious and hung up before giving the caller any further sensitive information," police said. "We would like to take this time to remind residents to not release any sensitive information and to call this agency if they suspect any suspicious activity."
