Description

DOYLESTOWN, PA — More than 25 vendors will set up shop downtown as the Doylestown Farmers Market kicks off its 47th regular season on April 16. The Farmers Market will also celebrate Earth Day with a live composting event, a craft for kids, and educational exhibits. The Back Porch Jugband will perform live as part of the opening day celebration. Available products include baked goods and breads, kombucha, locally-grown produce, and more. Started in 1975, it is the oldest run farmers market in the county. In 2017, it was taken over by the Bucks County Foodshed Alliance after being run by the Buckingham Township Civic Association. Hours are 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays through Nov. 19 at 2-50 South Hamilton Street (between West Oakland Avenue and West State Street, and behind the bookstore). You can check out what's in season each month here.
