Child Porn Suspect Arrested In Darien: Cops

DARIEN, IL – A man facing multiple charges of child pornography was arrested last week in Darien, authorities said. Richard Young, 55, was taken into custody March 23 at Extended Stay America, 2345 Sokol Court, on a warrant. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail. Young is wanted on three counts of child pornography and eight counts of unauthorized video recording of a victim under 18, according to jail records. The charges are tied to a 2020 case. The Carol Stream resident was arrested in January 2020 on charges of videotaping a minor without permission, then indicted on a number of charges two months later, according to the Daily Herald.
