We are a family whose love of the now-gone Nokomis Groves goes back to when my parents first bought a place not far from the grove more than 40 years ago. What a unique treat when staying with my parents to visit the wonderful little grove store and sample fresh squeezed juice and different varieties of oranges. You can be sure many big mesh bags of oranges went north on the plane after our visits. And when those fabulous orange-flavored ice cream cones became part of the Grove store just in time for all the grandchildren now coming along on visits, they became a must-have dessert every day of the week! Sadly, as you know, the Grove gave up the ghost last year and it just has not been the same for us. We tried to find out what company supplied the mix for the fruit flavored soft serve ice cream--the orange, the pineapple and the lime--but were unsuccessful. I am posting this in the hope that someone from the area who may have worked at the Grove store knows the name of that ice cream mix manufacturer and can let me know what it is by emailing me through the CL link. Or, if you don't know but you know one of the people who worked there over the years, tell them about this posting. My family and I would be more than grateful
