DANVILLE, CA — A lot of history lives within the walls of the Danville Veterans Memorial Building, that goes without saying. It was originally built in 1925 to honor World War I Veterans. In 2012 after a lot of renovations, it reopened as the Veterans Memorial Building and Danville Senior Center. Since then, more memories have been created as it serves as a local hub for many in the community, not just seniors. To commemorate the 10th anniversary of the building, the Town of Danville is having a party. There will be an open-house-style event April 28. Sara Schaefer, PatchYou can join the fun, share your memories and stories at the event from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the senior center, located at 115 East Prospect Avenue.
