We are an established national staffing agency seeking polished and professional event staff to work at the Austin VET Conference on Tuesday and Wednesday, April 5th and 6th. Positions available include badge scanners, registration, info booth and general event assistants. LOCATION: Austin Convention Center TRAINING: Sunday, April 3, 2022 - 1:00pm-5:00pm SCHEDULE: Tuesday, April 5 and Wednesday, April 6 - Shifts vary between 7:00am-6:30pm Ideally, staff can attend training and work both shifts, but some exceptions may be made for partial availability. UNIFORM: Black pants, black button down dress shirt, closed toed black shoes. A solid black blazer or cardigan can be worn if needed. Any facial piercings must be removed. PAY: $17.00 per hour (paid weekly via direct deposit) REQUIREMENTS: Must be polished and professional in appearance and demeanor. Must be available for training and for both show dates. Must be courteous and respectful of attendees and co-workers. Must be able to walk throughout the convention center and to stand for extended periods. Must be able to fulfil I-9 requirements. This is a W-2 position. Those who are hired will have the opportunity to work additional jobs through A+ Staffing, including conventions, catering and hospitality, experiential marketing/brand ambassadors, set up and tear down crews, sports and entertainment, merchandising and more.
