We are looking for a person that is looking to grow with the company. We will begin by saying.... We are NOT looking for a Project Manager. We are NOT looking for a person to point direction at people and stand around and Chit Chat. We are NOT looking for a person who says and doesn't produce what they say. We are NOT looking for Sub-Contractors or Sub-Working their workers. We "ARE" looking for an overall type of Foreman/Lead Guy a Team Player! A Foreman/Lead Guy, who outgoing/personable, hands on, hard worker. A Foreman/Lead Guy that will work together and guide a team on completing project tasks with little to no supervision. A Foreman/Lead Guy that is looking to Grow with a company. The Ideal Candidate Must Possess the following qualifications. • 10 years minimum field experience (15+ preferred) • Knowledge of all phases of construction (framing, tiling, decks, finishing work, kitchens, bathrooms, etc.) • General understanding of electrical and plumbing (extensive knowledge a plus) *For example being able to disconnect a light fixture /or plumbing fixture and be able to re-install it or install a new one. • In depth knowledge of procedures, equipment and OSHA guidelines • Strict adherence to all safety protocols, quality standards, and building codes • Ability to coordinate job tasks, create schedules and prioritize accordingly • Ability to manage a crew and delegate responsibilities accordingly • Ability to supervise and train workers and tradespeople as necessary • Excellent problem-solving skills • Highly motivated, energetic and organized • Ability to communicate and report effectively • Ability to track expenditures to keep project on budget • Good physical condition and stamina • Ability to lift at least 50lbs • Ability to climb a ladder (if necessary) • Ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints • Proficient in math • High school diploma or equivalent or diploma in a skilled trade • Valid NYS Driver's license • MUST be reliable and punctual • MUST be fluent in English • If you know Spanish too that's a Plus To be considered, please submit resume in Word format along with references.
