Great summer job opportunity! Lawn and garden maintenance worker needed from spring to snow.This person will help maintain the grounds of a personal home. Must be able to work independently and in small groups with high attention to detail. You must take directions well, follow safe practices and maintain productivity. Lawn tool experience preferred. Dependable transportation is required. Duties include but are not limited to: using hand and power tools, using a back pack blower to blow all hard surfaces daily, raking, planting, mulching, pruning, watering, lots of weeding, beach work, windows, patio furniture cleaning and edging. Trimming and mowing depending on experience. Flexible hours are available Monday- Friday between 9am and 4pm with short weekend shifts between 9am and 12pm. Your hours can be set up when hired. We rotate weekend and Holiday hours between workers. The shorter shifts include blowing and cleanup in the morning which usually takes under 2 hours with a guarantee of 4 hours paid. Lunch is paid for 1/2 hour. We usually work 30 to 35 hours during the week but fewer hours can be discussed. Bad weather days are not paid but the hours can be made up. Personal days are not paid but can be prearranged with supervisor. You will be expected to maintain the schedule you set up, be on time and ready to work. Since this is a unique opportunity and we need the right type person, a two week probationary period will be required. We offer a beautiful place to work on the St Croix River.
