DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: OBJECTIVE: To perform preventative maintenance and repairs, new construction, and troubleshooting on Goodwill owned and controlled facilities to include electrical, plumbing, HVAC, hydraulics systems, painting, welding, and carpentry in order to support the mission of the organization. Pay: $19 per hour This Full Time job is eligible for Medical, Dental, Vision, Retirement, Long Term Disability, Short Term Disability, Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment, Flexible Spending Accounts and several voluntary supplemental benefit offerings. In addition, this position is eligible for paid time off in the form of vacation, sick, holiday, floating holiday, jury duty and bereavement leave. Work Schedule: Monday through Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm with occasional overtime on evenings/weekends due to business needs. REQUIREMENTS High school diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years knowledge of industrial maintenance. OTHER REQUIREMENTS/PREFERENCES Demonstrate ability to troubleshoot various building systems. Ability to utilize smart phone apps and CMMS (computerized maintenance management system). Ability to use a variety of hand tools and maintenance equipment. Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. Must qualify as an insurable driver for Goodwill of Colorado. Overtime, shift or travel requirement: Occasional overtime; work varied schedule to include weekends, evenings, and holidays. Ability to communicate effectively with customers, management staff, and peers. Provide excellent customer service. Ability to work with persons with disabling conditions. Must have strong work ethic, be a self-starter, problem-solver, and team player. Ability to understand and follow all Goodwill safety standards and guidelines, and to read, comprehend, and follow Goodwill Employee Handbook, departmental manuals, and all numbered or supplemental memorandums. KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS (Essential Functions) General Perform facility repairs associated with an industrial environment. Includes, but is not limited to, the following: Light bulb/ballast replacement and repair. Assist with multi-phase carpentry. Assist with electrical/electronics work as required. Painting as required. Regular filter changes and basic maintenance of HVAC systems. Assist with and perform preventative maintenance as required. Collect and deliver parts and tools to work areas. Clean up job site/work area(s).
