Self-storage business with four sites, looking for a Part Time Skilled Maintenance/Handyman Person. This is an 1099 position. You will be self contracted and file your own taxes after receiving a 1099. Hours per week would be 15 to 25 hours most weeks. More at times. This would be a great match for someone who already self employed or has a part time job and could use more work. You will get requests for maintenance jobs from the Facilities Manger or Owner. Pay will be hourly. Typical jobs may include Rollup door maintenance- latch replacements, light plumbing and electrical possible, insect & mice control, lock cutting, units made ready to rent, and all other things a good handyman can do. Pay is on the 1st and 16th each month. The best candidate will have prior relative experience and a drive to do things right the first time. a truck/van step ladder cordless drills, drivers, grinder, saws hand tools.
