Description
I'm a multiple instrument musician, primarily bass and drums, looking for people to jam and record with in the area. I'm in my Mid 30s I have a place to play and I write original music ranging from storytelling acoustic to thrash and groove metal. Age isn't much of an issue. Usually a 2 piece but I and we are open to joining an existing band proximity would be a factor there. We're in our mid 30s so 25-45 seems appropriate but not an excluding factor. Drinking and smoking are fine but leave the harder stuff at home. I usually play with my brother and we're looking for at least one more guy to round us out and fill out the sound. We have no problems taking it slow or writing a song on the spot using basic riff stacking or key progressions. Between us we play drums, guitar, bass, banjo, ukulele, and some keyboard. Jam sessions are usually a blend of metal, funk, and the blues. I like to switch instruments and improvise. Ideally I'm looking for a few multiple instrumentalist that don't mind changing things up for the sake of the jam or the song but I'm not picky. We both write original music and have some understanding of music theory. Between us we have well over 200 songs to play around with and welcome original materials so nobody feels left out or like their is a power struggle. Ideally I'd like to start a band similar to the Beatles only heavier to distribute responsibility more evenly and allow for a broader range of sounds, but I'm happy with jam sessions. Thanks for taking the time to read this. I hope to hear from and jam with someone soon. Please no solicitations.
