Location: Durham, NH Starting: Immediately Shift: Full Time For immediate consideration apply here: Job DescriptionPosition Summary DetailsThe Quality Assurance Inspectorpossesses working knowledge of quality control techniques and methodology andprovides technical assistance to operations/field personnel. $17.00 perhour; Monday-Friday 7:00a-3:30p Responsibilities Conducts pre-construction meetings with property managers, owners, FDOT inspectors, and Department Manager and others as required  Prepares day’s inspection and work schedule by collecting crew locations from Street Sheet and supervisor  Interfaces with Shift Lead and QC Supervisor for direction and assignments  Verifies materials, workmanship, and specification/code requirements  Ensures that contractors are working within the guidelines and specifications set forth by permits  Performs inspections and documentation of in-process, start-up, and operations activity  Trouble-shoots engineering design and participates in resolution of issues  Completes detailed inspection records and maintains technical and other pertinent documents, as directed  Performs inspections in accordance with inspection plan, monitors inspection duties assigned to subcontractors, and reviews results of inspections  Identifies and monitors performance of witness and hold points in Work Planning packages  Identifies nonconforming items and corrective action requirements; initiates nonconformance reports and monitors status through closure of corrective action  Maintains databases through established project standard computer applications  Performs QC/QA surveillances  Create Dailies and QC reports for invoicing  Performs Quality Control Inspections to ensure that work activities meet required quality standards   Conducts contractor site inspections for safety and proper setup  Checks job sites for damage, and if found immediately reports to supervisor  Responds to customer complaints and affect resolutions  Creates internal memorandum advising the supervisor of any subcontractor’s negligence before the matter escalates to the client  Assists crews when needed to complete the job, within reason  Other duties as assigned Qualifications Possess state licenses as required  Possess valid driver’s license  Must be 18 years of age or older  Must submit to and pass a drug screen  General knowledge and experience in various phases of construction and inspection.  Ability to read and understand construction drawings  Proficiency using maps and location equipment in the field  Knowledge of work safety practices and procedures Preferred Qualifications:  One year of similar experience preferred  Past survey or Quality Assurance Inspector experience is preferred ABM (NYSE: ABM) is a leadingprovider of facility solutions with revenues of approximately $6.4 billion andover 130,000 employees in 300+ offices deployed throughout the United Statesand various international locations.
