DOG LOST AT SYMMES TOWNSHIP PARK (Deer Run Shelter) on 3/31/2022 Our dog CINDY pulled her retractable leash out of my hands at Symmes Township park this evening around 6 pm when deer ran across the trail. She is about 50 pounds, an Elkhound mix, medium sized, long fur mostly black with some brown around her face. She is microchipped. Her collar, if she is still wearing it, has our landline phone number on it and her name. The retractable leash may or may not still be attached to collar. We looked and called her until dark but saw no sign of her. She ran off about 1/8 mile down the trail from the dog park area (Bark Park) where there is a very wooded area there and bridge over a ravine.
