lifting my Toyota, would like advice

I have a ‘20 Tacoma I’m going to be lifting within the month, and I’d like to hear from some locals with lifted Toyotas who drive the nearby trails and roads. Any advice on what to do/not to do and what your current setup is would be appreciated. I drive Latrobe Road daily, and go to the mountains to explore weekly. Not the Rubicon, but not a dirt path either. I’m looking to get some better ground clearance and fit some bigger tires- but I also want a smooth ride and I want it to feel solid. Thanks!
